About Kristin

I am Kristin Von Kundra and a lifestyle documentary photographer. I approach each photo session as an opportunity to enter your world—your life with your children, your one and only—to capture its essence and beauty in a still image. I welcome individual photo sessions, such as senior portraits, and also family portraits including pets.

Photo session locations can be your backyard, a favorite park, a walking trail, or other outdoor locations of your liking. I am also happy to recommend locations. My photo sessions are fun and I ensure time for everyone to get accustom to being photographed. I am a digital-only photographer and I specialize in creating high quality coffee-table-style album books of your photographs. Additionally, I am happy to travel for photo sessions with a small fee included in the pricing.

I graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in English, with a focus in Creative Writing. My affinity for the creative arts has drawn me towards literature, theatre, dance, music, watercolors, and especially photography. Although most of these are only hobbies, photography is more than just means of expression. To me, photography is the art of immortalizing a moment in time.
